Antonio Serna

Antonio Serna is a Mexican-American artist, visual researcher, and educator. He is interested in the intertwined relationship between visual culture, sociopolitical history, and personal narratives. His two current studio projects include The Same Sun/Calendar, a multimedia project on deep time and place, and Documents of Resistance, which focuses on the history of art and activism of artists of color. He has exhibited in the US and abroad in Spain, Mexico, Germany, Croatia, and Taiwan.

Antonio holds an MFA from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and a BFA from Parsons School of Design. He has taught art and design at both colleges.
