Markley Boyer is a multidisciplinary artist and designer specializing in landscape visualization, cartography, and CNC carving. With a deep commitment to helping people understand and connect with the natural world, he integrates data from remote sensing, satellite imagery, and drone flights, combining multi-spectral, elevation, and geological information to create compelling visual and tactile representations of landscapes. His projects include working with the Wildlife Conservation Society in Africa, reconstructing Manhattan’s 1609 ecology for the book "Manahatta," building models to show sea level rise, and creating installations to help visitors understand the Catskills. Through public installations, immersive 3D models, and precision-crafted elevation sculptures, he brings science, art, and technology together to inspire and educate.
